Campaign video and social content for Arctic Army’s SS21 collection using VHS and digital.

Another series of social-first videos for luxury clothing brand Arctic Army. For this concept, I experimented with a retro VHS camcorder, the footage of which being interspersed with the digital footage from my BMPCC4k.

I also experimented with various screw-on filters and other in-camera effects to achieve conceptual and abstract footage of the models on set.

Sound design was crucial to these edits: using a reference from the creative director, I sourced a voice over which I then warped, and chose a spooky ambient track to edit the footage to.

A main 1-2 minute campaign video was the primary deliverable here, but of course a wide selection of varied social edits followed for Arctic Army to use on their socials throughout this season’s campaign.
