Social-first videos for Champion’s new capsule collection that celebrates 25 years of the Beastie Boy’s iconic album ‘Hello Nasty’.

[Champion are] celebrating 25 years of the New York hip-hop trio’s 1998 fifth album Hello Nasty – a record that Ad-Rock said in the 2018 best-selling Beastie Boys Book was their greatest. “It’s our best record/cover artwork… Hello Nasty was where we were headed.”

On a stills-focussed set, I aimed to create a series of dynamic short-form videos that best celebrated the collection. Working with the models, we utilised both body and camera movement to create dynamic and playful shots.

To mimic the Beastie Boys iconic music video style, I used a fish eye lens to get some creative visuals alongside retro camcorder footage. Think 90’s, early noughties vibes!
