Docu-series for music and culture magazine tmrw, documenting the contributing creatives that make the magic happen.

tmrw is a multi-platform music and culture magazine brand, serving up thought provoking content across print and digital. tmrw magazine doesn’t operate out of your bog-standard office block. Instead they liaise with independent creators across the world to bring together the most unique and insightful works for reading and viewing pleasure. Creating a docu-series about the magazine thus needed to reflect as such.

On several consecutive days, I filmed all across London, capturing the stories of tmrw’s creators, from joining stylists and photographers in their studio space to listening in on writers conduct their phone interviews with global pop superstars to pen their articles.

tmrw magazine doesn’t solely rely on print - in an ever digital space, they dominate Instagram with their content. The docu-series was to thus feature here, on IGTV primarily and with YouTube also in mind. The episodes were split into 6 (clips from each viewable above) each roughly 5 minutes in length, aiming to span long and short form without compromising on quality.

tmrw’s branding features throughout and with the edits I aimed to play on the artistic and rough edge tmrw endeavours to purvey in their content.
